HYCAL 74000 EPEF is an anhydrous calcium thickened lubricating grease based on a blend of biodegradable esters. The grease contains antioxidants, corrosion inhibitors and AW additives. The product with its carefully selected thickener, oil blend, and additive components, provide an environmentally adapted grease for the rail wheel and flange application. The grease is adapted to meet challenges from wet and corrosive environments, low temperatures and is able to sufficiently protect against shock loads and wear. HYCAL 74000 EPEF is a modern high performance EAL grease for total loss applications. In addition to the rail wheel and flange application, the product is suitable for railway switches, applications in forestry, agricultural and construction vehicles, where a biodegradable product with soft consistency is required. The grease is easily pumpable in most modern centralised lubrication systems.
