Green Point Wire Rope Rope Grease 0 is a high quality biodegradable grease, specially designed to lubricate and protect wire ropes in marine environments. It forms a film on the surface of the wire rope, with which the penetration of water in the inside of the wire rope is prevented. The application of a special type of thickener gives this grease strong polar properties. Green Point Wire Rope Rope Grease 0 provides excellent protection against corrosion and optimal protection against wear. The grease can be used within a wide temperature range and has a long service life. Green Point Wire Rope Rope Grease 0 is formulated with a synthetic, ester-based, highly viscous base oil, a special calcium thickener and is provided with anti-oxidants and corrosion inhibitors. This makes Green Point Wire Rope Rope Grease 0 fully compatible with the USA EPA VGP regulations.
