LanoPro Wire Grease ST2 EAL is a premium grade grease designed for maximum protection against degradation and corrosion of steel wires. The product forms a protective shield which protects against harsh conditions and corrosion. It also penetrates well and lubricates the steel ropes between the strings to reduce friction which damage the steel rope. It is highly recommended to use a pressurized wire rope lubricator to fully take advantage of the grease's thixotropic properties (the grease softens under pressure) in order to maximize the product's penetrating ability. LanoPro Wire Grease ST2 EAL will not crack or peel, and will prevent mildew while offering unbeatable weatherproof protection and excellent resistance under the most demanding conditions. The product will not leave a sheen on water after contact. It is compatible with most mineral oils or other petroleum based products, a test before application is recommended.
